Alex's answer: Give every agent a governed identity, a narrow job, least-privilege access, approved tools, and explicit boundaries around data and actions. Put policy checks before consequential actions, keep independent logs of inputs, tool calls, decisions, and outcomes, and continuously evaluate quality and drift. High-risk or ambiguous work needs a deterministic escalation path to a named human. Governance is part of the production architecture, not a document added after deployment.
